Can Spiritual Healing Help?

Spiritual Healing can be stated as a relationship between a healer and the sick with the sole intent to make the other person better through the process. Spiritual healers have faith that the positive result in healing is due to the channeling of healing energies or positive vibrations from the healer to the patient.

Spiritual healing effects are subtle but powerful. There are scientific articles that state that spiritual healing helps cure people of their diseases. Spiritual healing has the capacity to synchronize the mind and the body and maintain the balance. People often receive peace of mind when they become spiritually aware and accept any form of difficulty with a calm and composed attitude.

Spiritual healing also adds meaning and purpose to your life and makes you appreciate life’s gift in a better manner. Spiritual healing mainly stems from the need to search the meaning for life, and the meaning comes when we give importance to ourselves, and the decisions we make are understood and respected. Spiritual Healing is a way of making things better for humankind’s content, happy, positive, and bright future.

Healing verses

“He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”

The verse here explains that when in our lives we are often clouded with conflict and confusion and are not able to seek any ray of hope or light but still have our faith intact in ourselves.

Spiritual healing can be helpful in making us more aware of our mind and can provide us with a sense of calm and satisfaction. The positive result of keeping one’s mind and body at peace is very much reflected in the work; in the relationships and the life, we lead.

“He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.”

When in life, we face situations or circumstances that leave us disheartened and broken. We seek the guidance of something pure and comforting, which can be achieved by organizing our thoughts and channeling our emotions towards something positive. Human emotions are conditional and are often selfish and when our hearts are broken, keeping faith in you is the most important thing. This verse from the Bible also states that your faith in God can help you heal your broken heart and give you strength and hope to lead a positive life.

“Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.”

It can be frustrating when you do not receive the similar amount of love that you give back and when you put your heart and soul into your dreams or goals, but the result you get is not worth your efforts. These situations make you restless and get you inclined towards negative thoughts, and you start questioning your luck, stars, and God.

The most important thing in these situations is to keep believing in your strengths and maintain a positive outlook towards situations. Having faith and an inclination towards spirituality can also give you solace and help you declutter your mind.

“Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.”

Being at peace with yourself makes you stronger and helps you grow, learn, and thrive in life. The eradication of toxic feelings and energies assist you in creating a nurturing environment.

You need to respect yourself and be true to your feelings for a healed and healthy heart, body, and mind. Peace can be achieved by following the path of forgiveness and compassion towards yourself as well as others. Once you set yourself on searching for inner peace and tranquility, there is no turning back from that blissful feeling.

“For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.”

The verse here states that Lord restores and heals the wounds of those neglected by the people and society. This can also mean that whenever in our lives, we encounter people who are going through trauma, pain, and suffering, we must lend out a helping hand to them. Healing of the soul and body can only be possible if we are willing to share our positive energies and vibrations with those who need them the most.

“Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.”

This verse explains the plight that humans face while dealing with problems and hardships in their lives. They seek the guidance of some superior power, God, or the Almighty. This perception is based on the faith that we have in the positive energies that come our way in spiritual healing.

Having a belief that someone is keeping you safe from all the harms, treachery, and is looking after you in testing times is like finding a silver lining amongst the clouds of darkness and negativity.

“O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.”

Healing is a process of countering your inner insecurities and pessimism with positivity, calm thoughts, and optimism. Some studies show that people who seek spiritual healing often tend to find peace and focus on their problems better.

Even in the center of many storms that we face in our lives, we have the strength to stand in the middle of our own peace. Healing comes from organizing your thoughts and energies to live life as it should be and not how you have planned it to be.

Prayer for healing by Netanel Goldberg.

The song is a request for healing and mercy from God. The Hebrew words are taken from a prayer sung at the Kabbalat Shabbat prayer on Shabbat evening.

Translated words to English taken from the Open Sidur Project:

Please, good God, do heal her
And show to her Your face,
So my soul can see You
And bathe in Your grace.

“I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.”

This verse tries to explain how under the influence of pessimist and defeatist thoughts, we go astray and lose hope and the will to retain our strength. Under such situations, we seek help to bring back sanity and serenity in our lives. People often dedicate themselves to the process of healing to find their optimism and happiness back. Many healers believe that syncing positive energies helps achieve a state of tranquility in a much better and effective way.

“I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.”

Whenever we are faced with difficulties or hardships in our lives, we often tend to beat ourselves and blame the decisions that we take. In these disheartening times, we need to be kind to ourselves and show compassion and forgive the things done in the past and be accepting of the present, and definitely not stress about the future. We cannot let the mistakes made in our past affect our present.

“A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.”

The verse above explains that a happy, healed, and healthy heart leads to a happy, healed, and healthy body and mind. Congesting your heart with pain, suffering, and grudges will not do good to either you or the people close to you. If your mind is cluttered with negativity and obstructive thoughts, it will reflect in your decisions and eventually affect your life.

When things do not turn out expectedly, you will start beating yourself up, and the fear of defeat and loss will be gnawing away, your happiness slowly and steadily. It would be best if you made sure that to lead a happy life, you will need to practice the art of compassion and to let go.

“The greatest discovery of any generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitude.” (William James). A positive attitude towards life does not state that you have to live in denial of your negative situations.

The advantage of having a positive attitude includes foresees your happiness, health, success, and new opportunities. Positive attitude attributes to positive thinking and, in turn, effective and speedy healing. Your responsiveness towards positive thinking is shown in your decisions and the choices you make to lead a happy and peaceful life.

Song (mantra) performance by White & Ori

“Please, good God, do heal her”

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;”

The verse here tries to explain that humans are God’s creation, and he resides them and acts through them and their doings. If you are helping another person in need and is guiding someone to lead a happy life, you are doing the work of nobility and is preaching the message of kindness, gratitude, and compassion.

There are so many people in this world who suffer from immense pain and have lost all hope in their life. Suppose you spread some joy and rekindle the spirit of life in such people that will surely make the world a beautiful place. The joy of giving is bountiful, and it also helps you be a better version of yourself. Freeing people of their fear, dilemma, and insecurities is a step towards giving them a wonderful and peaceful life.

“O Lord, by these things men live, and in all these things is the life of my spirit: so wilt thou recover me, and make me to live.”

Life is a humdrum affair, and leading a completely healthy life can be a daunting task. A healthy lifestyle changes your mood, body, and attitude to a huge percentage. One needs to understand that health is the real treasure for us and not the silver and gold coins. Maintain a lifestyle with a perfect balance can only be achieved through discipline and by making constant efforts.

If you have a strong will to lead your life healthily without any qualms about the stress and problems then there is no stopping you at any level. The verse here is trying to state that God has advised us to be disciplined in our life as it results in a healthy mind and body and turn increasing your life span.

One of the most beautiful and heart touching songs, a plea to God to receive our prayer and save us. The song appears in the Shabbat prayer. The charming performance of the Hillel band from Samaria in Israel.

English translation from Open Sidur project:

Source of Mercy
With loving strength
untie our tangles.

Your chanting folk
raise high, make pure,
accept our song.

Like Your own eye
Lord keep us safe,
Who union seek with You.

Cleanse and bless us,
Infuse us ever
With loving care.

Gracious source
Oh holy power!
Do guide your folk.

Sublime and holy One
Do turn to us,
Of holy chant.

Receive our prayer,
Do hear our cry,
Who secrets knows.

Through time and space
Your glory shines.
Majestic One

“The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.”

The verse states that God will help you by providing strength to fight with your inner demons and illnesses and not give up on you even in the most testing times. These times are nothing but a testament to show that you are way too stronger than you think, and hardships and perils are mere ways to make you realize that. There is always a ray of hope beneath the chaos and mayhem.

“Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.”

Compassion is as important to us as the air we breathe or water we drink. Anyone devoid of compassion can never love or care for someone selflessly. In its absence, there can never be any benevolent or heroic deed.

Compassion is one of the most important messages that is spread by God and his disciples. It is the one thing that keeps humanity intact, and there is hope for us to grow in the future. Compassion stems from empathy, awareness, and concern for one another. In this verse, the Lord is requested to show compassion and relieve people from the agony, pain, and suffering.

“And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.”

The verse mentioned above states that the Lord is the protector of any illness and will safeguard you from all evil. Sufferings serve as a challenging ground to make our belief firm in ourselves. Sufferings and challenges make us humility, empathy, and perseverance. The value of helping others and showing compassion is best understood by the one who has suffered himself in life.

If you are suffering, ask for help and don’t shy away from extending your hand to anyone in need. This verse also reflects that God will save people who are willing to help others in need, and the disease refers to our inner demon, negativity, and insecurities.

“And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.”

As stated in the article, healing is the process of keeping both physical and mental aspects, calm and serene.  Being mentally sound results from having a healthy body, which can be achieved by being disciplined and consistent in our efforts.s.

In this verse, the message is to pray to the Almighty and seek his blessings for the food we eat and the water we drink. This also means that we should always keep positive thoughts and discard all the negativity while consuming anything we eat or drink. When our body is in a calm and serene environment, it automatically energizes us with similar vibe

“But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.”

Whenever you are blinded by darkness, confusion, and deceit, you have to keep in mind that there is always sun on the horizon with rays of hope and joy after a night. People often lose the spark and the zest to live after facing life-altering pain and torment; in times like these, people should remember that there is always a divine light guiding your path.

Hope for a better tomorrow is what makes all our lives meaningful with a purpose. Healing can only be successful if you believe in a better tomorrow and can focus on all the good things happening in your life without the past’s baggage.

“Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the LORD our God.”

The verse above states that if you are going astray and are looking for directions, you can always seek God’s guidance. If you feel lost in your life and feel out of options, then the best way to fall back on the right path is to focus on your goal.

Healing of the mind helps you to achieve success and gain the strength to combating any obstacles in your path. Getting cluttered by numerous thoughts and opinions can often confuse and makes you question your decisions. Faith, Belief, and strong will help you being committed tour targets and fills you with zeal and a positive attitude.
